To further this goal we are looking for a product analyst to push our product to new levels. As a Product Analyst you will shape the direction & growth of our hotel marketplace and, become the focal point for all related data matters in the tribe and work closely with Product owners, Engineers and Data sciencists.
You will work across our Offers engine product, which is responsible for enabling every user search with the best accommodation offers available for. At any moment, there are billions of offers available in our ecosystem, the main challenge we solve is finding the most relevant, quality and competitive offers, in efficient way, and allow the user to make a fair comparison among them. On your daily work you will face and try to solve complex product and engineering problems such define and find the best offer for every user, build our pricing strategy, ensure price accuracy and optimise profitability.
We're looking for a data expert who understands scalable and data driven products, and who has the technical & analytical skills to make sense of the mountain of data we have. This person will be the first Analyst in the team and expected to become a key factor of making both the product and the team fully data driven.

What you will be doing
Become a key factor in making the team fully data driven by utilise the data for measurement, ideation decision making and prioritisation
Own the squad data E2E - design tracking and data models, manage data pipelines and make it accessible for analytical usage
Work close with Engineers and POs on defining KPIs & success criteria's and measuring impact of exist and new products and features
Support AB testing with design, analysis, statistical decision making & ideation
Perform in-depth analysis on complex big data models for finding new opportunities for improvement & growth and generate actionable insights
Build automated and scalable solutions for exposing insights to internal and external consumers using BI tools.
Work with data scientists & engineers to build and optimise data driven features through data discovery and statistical modelling
Monitor ongoing performance and perform ad hoc analysis for investigating issues in production
Communicate proactively and educate the rest of the company with your insights & best practices
What a day in the office might look like:
You start the day by checking up on the product dashboards & AB tests to see if anything requires attention. During the daily stand-up you present your latest findings on the new pricing model, suggest improvements and raise problems or challenges you have faced. Before lunch you'll set aside time to deep dive into the data, searching for new insights and opportunities, write-up your summary and communicate it to the relevant team members. After a team lunch you'll meet with the team to brainstorm new experimentation ideas and prioritising the backlog. At the end of the day you’ll work to create a new pipeline for modelling events from the new price checker tool and build a dashboard on top of it for monitoring our price accuracy score.

Required qualifications & experience:
3-6 years of hands-on experience using data to drive product and business decisions, with significant part of backend and data driven product analytics
Highly analytical and data driven and have the ability to assemble, analyse and interpret data to make decisions and communicate findings
Experience at modelling data and creating data pipelines
Expert at using SQL & developing in BI tools like Looker, Tableau
Coding or scripting experience
Experience designing & analysing AB tests
Good understanding of statistics
BSc or equivalent with related experience in statistics, data analysis, data mining
Pro active and can do approach
Preferred qualifications & experience:
Especially for the more experienced candidates, we'd also expect to see in depth experience in one or more of the optional areas below (in order of priority):
Experience in internet/mobile companies
Conversion rate, pricing or request utilisation optimisation
Programming & statistical modelling in Python
