Product Analytics Lead (OTA) (remote/relocation possible)
Do you want to join us on a journey to change the trillion dollar travel industry? We are looking for the best and brightest who share our passion for data-driven user experience.
FindHotelbelieves that travel is the one thing that really opens minds to new ideas, cultures, and ways of thinking. Our mission is to get every traveller in the world the best accommodation deal. From adventure travel and backpacking to honeymoons and family vacations, we deeply care so that every traveller can make the best-informed accommodation choice at the absolute best conditions for every trip.
To further this goal we are growing our product analytics chapter and looking for analysts to push our booking experience to new levels, to make sure that our customers can find the best accommodation deals & book them easily on FindHotel. As the Product Analytics Lead of our OTA (Online Travel Agency) tribe you will own our booking experience analytics end-to-end! This includes checkout & booking management experience, supply partner integrations & management, payments & fraud, finance and customer support. So, we're looking for a driven expert who understands e-commerce and who has the technical & analytical skills to make sense of the mountain of data our users generate to support the teams & operations of the OTA tribe with analysis, experimentation, tracking and prioritisation. You would be the only analyst in the tribe to start with and this is a very hands-on role. Over time as the tribe grows, you would have the chance to build your own analytics team. This is a great challenge for the product analyst who wants to grow beyond product analytics into product business operations , all the while assisting us on our quest to build the next generation of accommodation search.

Perform in-depth analysis on user behaviour data to discover insights & optimise the user experience
Analyse & interpret AB test results and contribute to ideation & prioritisation of AB tests
Work closely with the Product Owners and Tribe Lead to give guidance on and influence goals, roadmaps and prioritises.
Support tracking across our products&teams and build data models & dashboards to visualise it in Looker, our BI software, in collaboration with data engineers.
Own payment and fraud analytics
Support financial reporting & customer support with data & tracking.
Be the overall data expert in the OTA tribe giving guidance to all aspects of running this business unit
Communicate proactively and educate the rest of the company with insights & best practices
Build an analytics team by hiring, managing & coaching analysts.
What a day in the office might look like:
You start the day by checking up on the product dashboards & AB tests to see if anything requires attention. During the daily stand-up you raise issues you identified regarding payment acceptance rate & conversion rates of one our supply partners and suggest improvements to deal with them. Before lunch you improve the data model & dashboard used by the customer support team to measure their progress. After a team lunch you'll meet with the team to brainstorm new experimentation ideas and prioritise the backlog to deliver the most value to customers. At the end of the day you'll set aside time to deep dive into the latest payment method that we implemented in the checkout and write-up your insights & recommendations of how to evolve payment methods in the next iterations.
The team: Product owners, UX designer, developers and supported by data scientists & engineers.
